- To offer legal coverage to all those universities, entities and institutions which form part of the campus of international excellence of CEI·MAR or which may become an associated entity through some form of collaboration, in order to ensure that CEI·MAR becomes an international point of reference in the fields of the humanities, science and technology in relation to the sea.
- To create an academic, scientific, entrepreneurial and innovative environment which is conducive to the development of CEI·MAR, its training and excellent research in different areas of specialisation, and the transference of technology. This will ensure that the activities carried out on campus revert positively to society; in this regard, activities in the field of education should especially be noted.
